दादा: अमीत, पाणीअ जो नलु छो खोलियो अथे-ई?

Dada: (Elder male in the family) Ameet, why have you turned on the water tap?

Ameet~: Maa'n burishu kare pa’nhi'njaa d^a'nd~a saafu th~o kariyaa'n.
अमीत्: मां बुरिशु करे पंहिंजा डं॒द साफ़ु थो करियां.

Ameet: I am brushing my teeth.

D~aad~aa: burishu karan~ vakt~i nalu ba'ndi rakhan~u ghurje.
दादा: बुरिशु करण वक्ति नलु बंडि रखणु घुर्जे.

Dada: The tap should be closed while brushing.

Ameet~: D~aad~aa i-e'n chho?
अमीत्: दादा इएं छो?

Ameet: Dada why that ?

D~aad~aa: Puta, paan~eea jee d^aadhee t~a'ngee aahe.
Boond~a boond~a bachaain~a saa'n ee t~alaau thahe th~o.
दादा: पुट, पाणीअ जी डा॒ढी तंगी आहे. बून्द बून्द बचाइण सां ई तलाउ ठहे थो.

Dada: Son, there is acute shortage of water. Only drops make a pond.

Paan~eea jee bachati karan~u asaa'n sabhinee jo farzu aahe.
पाणीअ जी बचटि करणु असां सभिनी जो फ़र्ज़ु आहे.

To save water is our duty!
