A plea for Donation for globally online learning of Sindhi

Language is perhaps our most powerful instrument for preserving and developing heritage and culture. When a language is lost, culture and heritage is also largely lost.
Significant global economic and structural realities make language preservation efforts increasingly difficult, especially in the case of our community (Sindhis) who are dispersed all around the globe. Currently, Sindhi is written in India and abroad in a version of Arabic or Devnagiri. To bring the language to a wide Diaspora of Sindhis living in different parts of the world English script is a logical choice. To accomplish this, Alliance of Sindhi Associations of Americas, Inc (ASAA), a tax-exempt organization registered in the State of Illinois, USA, embarked upon the project of making Sindhi available in Romanized English script through a web based portal “RomaizedSindhi.org”. In order to make this portal a reality, we need financial and other support from Sindhis & supporters of Sindhi community around the world. The Alliance receives no funding from any government agencies or other sources. We are supported solely by businesses, foundations and individuals dedicated to helping promote our principles. We are seeking donations to complete and maintain this portal. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Your donations are tax deductible because we are 501(3)c organization.
